Washington Technology Center hosts federal funding seminars for early- to mid-stage entrepreneurs. Small business owners and technology entrepreneurs learn how to successfully compete for SBIR funding. Learn how qualified U.S. businesses can obtain SBIR funding for research to evaluate the scientific and technical merit of an idea, create and test prototype technology, and develop the commercialization strategy.
The main focus is the Small Business Innovation Research program, with varied topics each session such as commercialization strategy, legal and accounting tips, leveraging intellectual property, identifying and aligning with agency programs, and more.
Seminar speakers share tips for creating competitive proposals, tactics for growing a business with SBIR funding, and channels for using state resources and researchers for collaborative projects.
