Rapidly growing markets sufficiently large to create a business with several million dollars in annual revenues |

Proven management team with relevant successes and a desire for advice and coaching or a team looking for leadership from a key investor |

Proven management team with relevant successes and a desire for advice and coaching or a team looking for leadership from a key investor |
|
|
Realistic, achievable financial projections and potential for high return on investment (ROI) |
|
|
Sustainable competitive strategies that are clearly articulated |
|
|
Patents or other unique competitive market advantages |
|
|
Credible and balanced business plans including key execution milestones |
|
|
Preference for businesses located in Eastern Washington |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Interested companies may apply online through the WTC website. |

Columbia Investor Group meets four times a year. Entrepreneur applications are accepted up to one month prior to the investor meeting. Please check calendar for dates. |

|
Submitting companies that meet the Columbia Investor Group selection criteria will be selected for further review and will be contacted by a member of Columbia Investor Group’s screening committee for more details. Those companies that are selected for further review will be asked to supply the full review package (see below for details) and schedule a 30-minute phone call to answer questions from screening committee members. Companies will be selected from this group to present at one of Columbia Investor Group’s quarterly full membership luncheons. |

Companies that are not selected for the full review package will be rejected without further consideration. Some companies that are not considered “investor ready” after submitting the full review package may be encouraged to reapply when they have met the Columbia Investor Group “investor ready” criteria. |

Columbia Investor Group will only consider early-stage companies that are “investor ready” and have completed the following investor materials: |

1. A one page summary of the investment opportunity. |
|
|
2. A six to eight page Executive Summary covering the following areas: |

A description of your product or technology | |

The problem and your solution | |
|
The market opportunity | |
|
Competition | |
|
Marketing, distribution and sales plan | |
|
Revenue model | |
|
Summary financials | |
|
Management team | |
|
Investment offer |

3. Historical financial statements (if applicable), plus pro forma financials (ideally five year). |
